The portal uses one essential cookie that keeps you signed in and remembers files you upload before you create an account. It expires after 12 hours. The portal does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use your files for anything other than quoting and making your parts.
By creating an account, uploading files or placing an order you consent to the uses described here. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal and contractual limits (for example, we have to keep invoices). Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer process your orders.
Only service providers that help us run the portal, and only what they need:
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is there, it can be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country. You can ask us about our service providers' practices outside Canada using the contact details above.
We keep account and order information while your account is open and as long as we need it for the purposes above. Accounting and tax records, including invoices and orders, are kept for at least six years as Canadian tax law requires. Files uploaded by visitors who never create an account or place an order may be deleted after a period of inactivity. Backups are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
The portal is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, uploaded files are kept outside the public website, staff access is limited by role, and backups are kept in private storage with restricted access.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close your account. Most details can be updated on your account page. We answer written requests within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will be shown on the portal.
